Objectives: extracurricular activities should:
provide children alternatives for spending a part of their free time in a pleasant, useful and educational way,
ensure "expression space" for the natural behaviour of children and practical application of "the baggage" that curriculum offers by the disciplines of education,
facilitate direct contact of children with the concrete reality in order to practise their civic behaviour in different environments others than the school, as future responsible citizens,
develop better relationships between pupils and teachers,
illustrate various ways of organizing activities based on the same subject, depending on the particularities of the participants and existing local conditions.
